For over a decade, TownHome has been a Center City Philadelphia shopping destination synonymous with distinctive style and gracious hospitality. Founded by Dana Bank, TownHome Jewelry & Boutique offers a thoughtfully cultivated selection of fashion and fine jewelry and unique gift items unlike anywhere else in the region.
TownHome originally opened its doors in 2003 as an upscale home and gift boutique on 19th Street in Center City Philadelphia to fulfill Dana’s lifelong love of finding perfect gifts for friends and family, and inspired by her mother who is a stellar entertainer. With the introduction of jewelry from yet-to-be-discovered brands such as Jeanine Payer and Me&Ro, Dana knew she’d found a niche for the next phase of TownHome – and customers agreed!
In 2009, TownHome relocated to its current home at 16th and Walnut Streets in the hub of Rittenhouse Row; it is a tiny jewel box nestled in the heart of Philadelphia’s finest shopping, dining, culture and living. TownHome’s jewelry is effortlessly chic and always on trend; many pieces have a touch of whimsy, and all are donned by stylish women from the city to the suburbs and beyond. TownHome continues to be the Philadelphia’s exclusive boutique for covetable jewelry brands such as Jennifer Meyer, Heather B. Moore and Sydney Evan. In addition, TownHome maintains a selection of one-of-a-kind gifts for men and Dana’s favorite gifts for the home.
Owner Dana and her staff treat each guest like an old friend, exuding a warmth that welcomes everyone who pops in to browse. Many clients even refer to Dana as the “gift whisperer” due to her knack for finding the right gift for every occasion. Repeat customers have come to rely on TownHome as a trusted resource to fill them in on the latest trends and new arrivals, help them select the must-have additions to their collections, or choose a special gift for a loved one.
TownHome Jewelry & Boutique remains one of Philadelphia’s favorite independent retailers. It is a staple on Philadelphia Style’s “Hot List” and was most recently featured in Philadelphia Magazine’s 2012 “Best of Philly” issue.
